

(WZTV) — Over 500,000 dishwashers have now been recalled due to fire hazard according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
Previously, 149,000 affected dishwashers were recalled in 2015 but another 408,000 have now been added to the expanded recall. There have been five reports of power cords overheating and causing fires that resulted in property damage.
The affected models fall under the Bosch, Gaggenau, Jenn-Air, and Thermador brands. To see if your model and serial number match those affected, check the information printed inside the dishwasher, either on top of the appliance, on the inner door panel, or on the side
